How this website uses cookies and similar technologies, in accordance with article 82 of French Law no. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 as amended and the CNIL's guidance.

02Legal framework
In France, the use of cookies and similar technologies is governed by article 82 of Law no. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 as amended, which transposes the ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC as amended), read together with the GDPR.
Article 82 requires that any reading of information already stored in a user's terminal equipment, or any writing of information to it, must be preceded by clear and complete information about its purposes and the means of refusal, and by the user's consent. Two exemptions apply: operations whose exclusive purpose is to enable or facilitate electronic communication, and operations strictly necessary for the provision of an online communication service expressly requested by the user.
The CNIL has specified the practical conditions for valid consent in its guidelines (deliberation no. 2020-091) and its accompanying recommendation (deliberation no. 2020-092), in particular that refusing must be as easy as accepting, and that continued browsing does not constitute consent.
03What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a website. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels, tags and software development kits. In this policy, "cookies" covers all of these.
Cookies are generally grouped as: strictly necessary; preference; audience measurement or analytics; and advertising or marketing. All categories other than strictly necessary require prior consent.

This is a static website. It sets no cookies of its own, embeds no third-party advertising or analytics script and loads no external tracking pixel. Fonts and stylesheets are served from the site's own domain rather than from a third-party content delivery network, so loading a page generates no request to an external tracking party.
05Browser storage
The interface scripts write nothing to localStorage or sessionStorage and store no identifier or preference on your device between visits. Any state used by the interface — for example whether the mobile menu is open — exists only in memory for the duration of the page view and is discarded when the page is closed.
06Server logs
Independently of cookies, the hosting provider's web server automatically records standard technical data relating to requests (IP address, timestamp, resource requested, user-agent). This does not involve writing to or reading from your terminal equipment and therefore does not fall within article 82, but it may constitute personal data, processed as described in the Privacy Policy.
07Why no banner is displayed
A consent mechanism is required only where non-exempt cookies or similar technologies are used. Displaying a banner where nothing requiring consent is set would be misleading and would not improve transparency.
Should the situation change, a compliant consent mechanism will be implemented before any non-essential technology is activated.
08If cookies are introduced
If audience measurement, embedded third-party content or any other non-essential technology is introduced, SYNVERIQ will:
- publish an updated inventory in this policy identifying each tracker, its purpose, its issuer and its lifetime;
- obtain prior consent through a mechanism offering acceptance and refusal with equivalent ease, excluding pre-ticked boxes and treating continued browsing as neither consent nor refusal;
- make withdrawing consent as simple as giving it;
- prevent non-essential technologies from loading before consent is obtained;
- keep a record of consent so that it can be demonstrated (art. 7(1) GDPR).
09Managing cookies in your browser
Independently of this website, you can configure your browser to block or delete cookies and to review what is stored for a given site. Blocking all cookies may affect the operation of other websites; it will not affect this one, as none are used.
Each browser publishes its own instructions, generally under headings such as "clear browsing data" or "privacy and security settings".
10Changes and contact
This policy is reviewed whenever the technical configuration of the website changes. The version and date shown at the top of the page indicate the version in force.
